Data Methodology

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Machine records combine structured public information with explicit quality gates designed to prevent incomplete pages from entering public discovery.

Collection

Records may be compiled from manufacturer pages and brochures, official notices, standardized test material and reputable public references.

The catalogue stores regional variants separately where the available evidence indicates different specifications.

Normalization

Values are normalized for comparable UK metric and US imperial presentation. Converted values may be rounded for readability; the original source unit is preferred when resolving discrepancies.

Publishing threshold

A machine enters search, catalogue hubs and XML sitemaps only when it has a substantive overview, a minimum structured specification set and an image. Records below that threshold remain withheld from public discovery while they are improved.

Passing this threshold means the page has enough material to publish; it does not mean every individual value has been independently verified.

Confidence and verification

Confidence indicators summarize available evidence and completeness. A verified label is reserved for records that have passed the applicable editorial check.

Because machinery varies by year, market and configuration, readers should confirm safety, service and purchasing decisions against the exact machine and official documentation.
