The CLAAS ARION 650 sits at the top of the four-model ARION 600 Series, CLAAS's versatile mid-range line built for mixed arable, livestock and heavy front-loader work. It is powered by a six-cylinder 6.8-litre DPS Powertech (John Deere) engine rated at around 185 hp under ECE R 120, with current models meeting Stage V via DPF and SCR/AdBlue and offering CLAAS POWER MANAGEMENT (CPM) on the CMATIC variant. Buyers choose between the stepless CMATIC continuously variable transmission, built in-house by CLAAS, or the 24/24 HEXASHIFT powershift (six powershift steps across four electronically controlled groups) with REVERSHIFT. The cab is offered with CEBIS touchscreen management or the simpler CIS controls, and supports CEMOS operator-assistance and GPS guidance. The ARION 650 is fully loader-ready with optional front linkage and front PTO, and its closed-centre load-sensing hydraulics deliver up to about 110 l/min through up to six electronic spool valves with a rear lift capacity in the region of 7.8 tonnes. It is aimed at farmers and contractors wanting a comfortable, technology-rich all-rounder that balances field and transport work.
