The John Deere 5075E sits at the top of the 3-cylinder tier of the 5E Series utility lineup, slotting above the 5050E/5060E/5067E and just below the 4-cylinder 5090E and 5100E. It is powered by a 2.9 L (179 cu in.) turbocharged PowerTech 3029 three-cylinder diesel rated at 75 engine hp (55 kW) at 2,100 rpm, delivering roughly 57-61 PTO hp through a 540-rpm independent PTO. Buyers can choose the standard 9F/3R SyncShuttle (SyncReverser on 2WD) or the optional 12F/12R PowrReverser for clutchless directional changes in loader and material-handling work. An open-centre hydraulic system flows about 18.2 gpm (68.8 L/min) and the Category 2 (convertible to 1) three-point hitch lifts up to 3,192 lb (1,448 kg), and the tractor is engineered loader-ready for matched John Deere front-end loaders. Emissions are handled to EPA Final Tier 4 using a cooled-EGR/DOC strategy with no DPF, no DEF and no operator-managed regeneration.
